The kid-friendly handPaint application is a digital canvas where budding artists of all ages can create paintings using a wide variety of colorful subjects and artisans' tools. With safari, farm, sea, and urban motifs, as well as various landscapes and backgrounds you can paint a masterpiece.

You can unlock any Sketch Book with one of three easy options.
- A sketch book can be purchased using Apple's in-app purchase
- Use Twitter to tell your followers about handPaint
- Facebook an update about handPaint to your friends.

"Now parents can empower their young artists to create colorful, multilayered artwork anywhere with ease," explains Karen Auman, mother and co-founder of prekApps. "The application was inspired by my middle son who loves to draw race cars and motorcycles but became easily frustrated when he couldn't convey his wishes in his Christmas letter to Santa. handPaint's easy-to-navigate toolbar is designed to make the user experience simple and fun.

- Magic Brush lets users simply paint to reveal the selected sketch book page
- Magic Marker lets you stencil in the subject's shape
- Pen Tool allows you to free hand draw with the sketch book page as a guide
- The Pencil allows you to draw without any guides
- Palette allows artists to use their finger to mix and select colors
- Use the Eraser to erase a little or the "Page Curl" to start with a new canvas
- Camera saves your artwork
- Use the Artwork Photo to resume sketching your saved masterpiece or change the canvas background
