Chicago \At a Glance\ City Guide - Free

By BeeLoop SL released on: 2009-08-24T10:21:10Z

The guides "At a Glance" comprise a selection of the most important points of interest in every city which have been selected and checked by experts on trips so you don't miss the opportunity to know them whether you are just visiting the city or you live in it.

For each point of interest you are offered a wide range of information which can include the address, phone number, e-mail address, location - to be located on the map or to show the route from the user's location -, the nearest car parks and underground stations, a picture, the editor's classification, and ticket prices, among the most important details. It is also possible to add this information to the device's own address book - so you won't have to add it by hand - as well as send it to other users by e-mail. All this information is within the guides so it is not necessary to download it from Internet (check availability of this section in

In the "Categories" section, the "At a Glance" guides allow sorting the reference required by type, name, price, nearness or editor's selection as well as further filtering, sorting and searching, so the user can easily find the point of interest s/he is looking for.

The categories are:

-"tHistory and culture
-"tWhat to see
-"tEating out
-"tNight life

Several guides also have the "Utilities & Services" section (with the same filtering, sorting and searching features than "Categories" section has).

The utilities & services are:

-"tPolice stations
-"tMetro Stations
-"tPetrol Stations
-"tCar rental
-"tPost Offices
-"tEmbassies and consulates

On the other hand, the "At a Glance" guides also help the user to know what can be done at a given moment thanks to their section "What to do now?", where different options among the whole reference database will be suggested depending on the point at which the user is located or the time of the day at which the query is done.

Also, the "What's nearby?" section makes it possible for users to select all those points of interest located at less than a given distance and therefore have a quick access to their details.

Finally, the section "Favourites" will allow the user mark the most viewed references and therefore enable a quicker and more direct further query.

All the guides are available in:

Amsterdam, Antwerp, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Bern, Boston, Bruges, Brussels, Budapest, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Cologne, Copenhagen, Donostia (San Sebastian), Dublin, Florence, Geneva, Ghent, Helsinki, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Lisbon, London, Los Angeles, Madrid, Menorca, Milan, Moscow, Munich, Naples, New York, Oporto, Oslo, Palermo, Paris, Prague, Rome, Saint Petersburg, San Francisco, Seville, Sofia, Stockholm, Sydney, Tallinn, Valencia, Varsaw, Venecia, Vienna, Washington, Zaragoza and Z"u00fcrich.
