ProtangleLite

By Prolog Inc. released on: 2009-09-16T06:54:44Z

Protangle is a smart puzzle game where you have to tactfully reorganize some jumbled lines so that no line crosses another line.

ABOUT LITE VERSION
Lite version has all features of full version, but shows commercials.

IS IT FOR YOU?
If you love to solve analytic and visual puzzles, Protangle is for you. You will have to visualize a lot, which will increase your analytical skills and critical thinking. Also, it is really fun to solve each of the problems.

INSTRUCTIONS
The screen will show several balls scattered across the screen, with many lines connecting the balls. These lines crisscross the screen. You can move a ball by touching it, and by that the lines connected to that ball change positions. The objective of the game is to arrange the balls so that there are no crossings.

The lines that have some crossing are marked with bright white, while the ones with no crossings are marked with black. At first, most lines are marked as white. As you progress with the puzzle, more and more lines will be marked as black. At the end, there will be no white lines, denoting a solution.

Tip: Generally, you make a move which reduces number of white lines. All the time you drag a ball, observe the lines for a situation which is better than the current one. Try to keep balls having more lines with them at the center of the screen and balls having fewer lines near the sides of the screen.

NORMAL MODE VS. CHALLENGE MODE
There are two modes of game play i.e. Normal Mode and Challenge Mode. In Normal Mode, you will have as much time as you like to discover a solution. Point distribution depends solely on fast and quick solution. This mode is actually a practice ground for Challenge Mode.

In Challenge Mode, you will have a certain objective to accomplish: you have to solve the puzzle within a limited time. The hardness of the challenge is determined according to the game level.

STAGES AND LEVELS
The Classic Mode has 42 levels where each level contains a graph to solve with no time constraint. Challenge Mode has a time constraint.

SCORING POLICY
In Challenge Mode, you will get time bonus which is calculated as following:
Level Point =10 + Level Number *10
Bonus = Level Number * Time Saved
And Total Point = Level Point + Bonus

LEADER BOARD
In leader board, you can submit your score to see your rank among all players in the world. Also, it will display the top 10 users with their scores.

OTHER OPTIONS
You can send feedback, report bug or send suggestions to us using Send Feedback option. A dedicated support team is there to follow up those reports and feedbacks. Also, you can recommend the game to your friends using Tell-A-Friend feature. You can also subscribe to our Notification Service to get updates of Protangle and information about newly released applications and games from us.

CREDIT
Protangle is designed and developed by the iPhone Team of Prolog Inc. We are determined to provide attractive games and applications in market.

iPRISM

By Quantum Toast released on: 2010-10-07T12:52:57Z

1.What are PRISM and iPRISM?
PRISM stands for Pictorial Representation of Illness and Self Measure. It is a method that transforms complex questions into a visual rendering of an individual's unique perspective. It allows for reflection on alternatives and can reveal unconscious associations. PRISM has been used in the field of medicine and psychotherapy for more than 15 years and has been thoroughly evaluated in many scientific projects (www.prism-coop.ch). iPRISM is the App that brings PRISM to the iPhone and iPad.

2.What can iPRISM offer?

According to Heraclitus it is not problems themselves, but rather our perceptions of problems that determine happiness or unhappiness. iPRISM aids in shifting the perspective from a problem to one's relationship to a problem. Instead, it measures, on one hand, aspects of an issue in terms of distance and spatial coordinates to one's self. On the other hand, it helps to make the relations to various aspects of an issue more easily ascertainable, tangible and conscious.

3.Why does iPRISM work?

iPRISM solves the problem of having to express individual vital issues exclusively with words. Instead it expresses relations to an issue as spatial distances from a person. Linguistic valuations such as "what is expected?", "what is right?" or "what is good?" take a subordinate role. In its place, the focus becomes the spatial arrangement (for example, "is closer to me", "is further away") representing aspects of an issue.

4.What makes iPRISM special?

The basic principle of iPRISM is radically simple. It is free of language demands, culture-free and operable with the swipe of a finger. iPRISM is a tool that boosts personal competence in the ability intensively to reflect upon questions from different perspectives. Neuroscientific studies have shown that PRISM measures distances that correspond to specific frontal lobe activity.

5.How can I customise iPRISM?

iPRISM always measures the relationship between me (yellow disc) and up to nine aspects (coloured discs) of a to be determined issue (white surface).
To adapt iPRISM to my requirements, I need to answer four questions: 1. What relevant matter do I wish to reflect upon (white surface)? 2. What questions do I have exactly? 3. Which aspects (up to nine) of this matter do I want to set in relation to me and to each other? Positioning and moving the coloured discs helps to reveal my motivations and interests.

6.How should I formulate questions for iPRISM?

All aspects regarding an issue are spatially located with relation to the yellow disc. A question must be so formulated that it either implicity or explicitly suggests a statement about the spatial distance of an aspect to this reference point. I need to formulate a question such that it allows for the placement of coloured discs on the white field (for example, "u201ewhat role does aspect A play for me?", "u201eHow important is aspect B to me?").

7.Why can't I move the yellow disc?

The yellow area is a fixed point of reference from which I measure the various aspect relations. In contrast the frame of reference itself (white surface) as well as the chosen thematic aspects (coloured discs) can be variably configured according to the question at hand.

8.Why are the discs coloured?

Colours are very individual sources of information. I allocate individual aspects such that they trigger an association (for example, red=illness, yellow=risk, purple=hope, white=chance, black=loss).

9.Why are there only nine coloured discs?

The limit of nine coloured discs improves the overview, increases user friendliness and makes PRISM easier to use.

10.What does the yellow disc stand for?

The yellow disc in the lower right hand corner of the white background represents the core or the "u201eSelf" of an individual. It can also represent a central characteristic of a person, for example, "my knowledge".

MathSchoolLite

By Prolog Inc. released on: 2009-10-16T07:00:00Z

Overview
a. How good are you in simple maths like 2 + 2 = 4? Good? Can you prove it? We will offer you two simple quantities like 4 and (2 + 2). You will only have to tell if the left side is greater than, or equal to, or less than, the right side.

Sounds easy, right? Well, you will have to answer 10 - 15 such questions in a minute, and the real challenge is in answering quickly. The better score you make, the harder becomes your questions. Come, hop in, and experience this simple yet challenging math skills game.

Skills involved
a. Elementary maths, quick calculation and quick decision making. You need to use simple calculations like add, subtract, divide and multiply. Based on your calculations, you will have to decide. The quicker you are, the more you score.

Who is it for
a. It is for anyone: kids, students, parents, professionals, aged persons. Engaging in quick-and-simple maths will improve your skills in various aspects: maths (that one is obvious), decision making, critical thinking, analytical ability and so on.

By using Math School regularly for only few minutes a day, you will experience the progress yourself: you will be able to think more clearly.

5. Instructions
a. Each problem will have two sides. For example, the left side can be "4 + 3" and the right side can be "6". There will be three buttons for answer:
i. Greater Than ii. Equal To iii. Less Than

b. Now, we see that in our particular question, the left side is 4 + 3, or 7. The right side is 6. 7 is clearly greater than 6. So, our answer will be "The left side is greater than the right side", and the correct choice will be the "Greater Than" button.

c. Similarly, if the left side is smaller than the right, the correct choice will be the "Less Than" button. If both sides are equal, the correct choice will be "Equal" button.

d. You can take as much time as you need to answer one question. However, remember that the time will be running out.

e. After you choose one answer out of the three, you will be showed a green tick mark if you were right, or a red cross mark if you are wrong. At the same time, you will be showed the next question.

f. You have to answer as many questions as you can in one minute.

Levels and Stages
a. There are ten grades in the Math School. You have to start from Grade One. After you pass Grade One, Grade Two will be unlocked.

b. As you clearly understand, questions will be harder in higher grades. Also, as you continue making correct answers in any grade, you will face harder questions.

c. There is a pass mark for each grade. You need to score more than this to go to next grade.

d. You can play in any grades that you have passed. However, you can not play a grade (for example, Grade 8) unless you have passed the previous grade (in this example, Grade 7).

Scoring policy
a. Generally, each question will have 10 points for correct answer. However, harder questions will have more points, and higher grade questions will have more points than lower grade questions.

Lite Version
The lite version has all the features of the full version, except that it will show occasional advertisements.
