Please read! This is the Catholic Public Domain Version (CPDV) of the Holy Bible. It is not the New American Bible(NAB) and thus some parts will be slightly different than the NAB such as the Psalms numbering. The CPDV bible is available online at www.sacredbible.org where you can compare the Psalms numbering.
The Catholic Public Domain Version of the Bible is a translation of the Sacred Bible, Sixtus V and Clement VIII Latin Vulgate edition. The 1914 Hetzenauer edition of the Vulgate was the main source text. Several other Latin editions were consulted including the 1861 Vercellone edition, the 1822 - 1824 Leander van Ess edition (which compares the 1590, 1592, 1593, 1598 editions of the Sixtus V and Clement VIII editions), and the modern-day Tweedale Edition (London, 2005). The Challoner Douay-Rheims Version of the Bible was used as a guide in translating the Latin text into English. The original Rheims Douai Bible was also frequently consulted.
The sole translator and editor of the Catholic Public Domain Version is Ronald L. Conte Jr. I have relied on God's Providence and Grace in translating and editing the Sacred Bible. I also have used various reference texts, in print and in electronic form. Since the Latin editions of the Bible used in this translation are in the public domain, as the sole translator and editor of the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Sacred Bible, I hereby place the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Sacred Bible in the public domain in perpetuity.

Our mission is to allow people to not only write their prayers down, but allow them to share their prayers publicly. All prayers public or private are saved under the "My Letters" tab. At anytime you can see how many people have prayed for any given letter and see written prayer responses to your letters. Any letter you read allows you to "Respond" by either sending a silent prayer or writing a prayer and words of encouragement that will appear in users "My Letters" tab attached to the prayer you are responding to.
The "Resource" tab contains a list of common topics that have been seen in the letters written in the app. Each topic contains the scriptures related to that topic. The scriptures can also be listened to by courtesy of the Word of Promise NKJV audio Bible.
The Letters to God application was inspired by the movie Letters to God. The spinning globe maps out all the public prayer requests around the world. The color of the points represent the mood selected by the author of the letter. To date we have received over 50,000 letters with the latest 4,000 letters displayed on the globe. The latest 400 letters are animated.
We review each letter marked as public to make sure it is appropriate for all ages. We will never post letters that directly blasphemy God. It is one thing to question God's existence and quite another to simple curse God and put down believers.

- Touch any point on the globe and read letters in that area.
